About World Sport Scientist Day

World Sport Scientist Day will be launched on 23rd  July 2026, as a global initiative to highlight the critical role sport scientists play in advancing human performance, driving sporting success, and improving health. This event will take place annually on July 23 to continue educating the public, collaborating with key stakeholders, and empowering communities.

What We Do

  • Raise Awareness: We highlight the role of sport scientists through campaigns, events, and public engagement.
  • Educate: We offer resources and information about the impact of sport scientists on human performance.
  • Collaborate: We work alongside key stakeholders to support the integration of sport scientists into human performance setting and community sport participation initiatives.
  • Celebrate Achievements: We recognise and celebrate the successes of sport scientists, their athletes, clients, and the broader community.
