ICSESP Directors Kade Davison and Nathan Reeves recently represented the Confederation at the European College of Sports Science (ECSS) Congress in Rimini, Italy.
Key Highlights:
- Productive meetings were held with ECSS senior leaders andClinical Exercise Physiologists (CEPs) from Greece, discussing how ICSESP’s work on international CEP standards could support the development of a recognised and sustainable CEP profession in Greece.
- Nathan Reeves presented “Systematic Audit of Existing Professional Standards – Setting the Scene for International Sports Science Standards” and delivered an oral presentation outlining Stage 1 of the International Sport Science Professional Standards.
- Kade Davison led a dynamic lunchtime session, sharing strategic updates on ICSESP’s current and future initiatives.
- Kade and Nathan held discussions with international colleagues to pave the way for future expansion of ICSESP membership across new regions.
